Folding units that ship at 20ft and open out to a wide garden room on site. Every model is fully insulated, double glazed and covered by our anti-rot guarantee, with free UK mainland delivery, optional professional installation and 0% finance.

How much does a garden pod cost?

Our range runs from about £2,300 for a compact insulated pod or work booth up to around £11,000 for a large expandable garden room or capsule house. Every price on the site includes our margin and VAT; professional installation and a base are optional extras. See the full cost breakdown.

Do I need planning permission for a garden pod?

In most cases no - a garden office is usually permitted development if it is single storey, no more than 2.5m high within 2m of a boundary, sited behind the house, not used as separate living accommodation, and covers no more than 50% of the garden. Listed buildings, conservation areas and flats have extra rules. Read the planning guide.

Are the pods insulated for year-round use?

The work pods, office pods, apple cabins, capsule houses and expandable rooms are all fully insulated in the walls, floor and roof with double glazing, so they are genuinely usable through a British winter with a small heater. The transparent bubble pod is a seasonal garden room, not an insulated office.

What is the difference between a work pod, an apple cabin and an expandable pod?

A work pod / booth is a compact one-to-four person acoustic room that installs in a day. An apple cabin / capsule is a curved, design-led pod with panoramic glazing. An expandable pod ships at 20ft and folds out on site to a much wider garden room.
