How to choose a garden pod

Start with how you'll use it and how much space you have. For a single desk or back-to-back calls, a work pod or booth (3-5m²) installs in a day. For a proper standalone office, a 3.0m x 2.4m insulated pod or a curved apple cabin gives you room for a desk plus seating. For an office that doubles as a garden room, look at the larger capsule houses and expandable folding pods.

How much does a garden pod cost?

Our current range runs from £2,379 for a compact pod up to about £14,618 for the largest configuration. Every displayed price includes VAT and eligible UK-mainland delivery. The base, groundworks, electrical connection and assembly are not included. See the full cost breakdown.

Do I need planning permission for a garden pod?

In most cases no - a garden office is usually permitted development if it is single storey, no more than 2.5m high within 2m of a boundary, sited behind the house, not used as separate living accommodation, and covers no more than 50% of the garden. Listed buildings, conservation areas and flats have extra rules. Read the planning guide.

Are the pods insulated for year-round use?

The work pods, office pods, apple cabins, capsule houses and expandable rooms are all fully insulated in the walls, floor and roof with double glazing, so they are genuinely usable through a British winter with a small heater. The transparent bubble pod is a seasonal garden room, not an insulated office.

What is the difference between a work pod, an apple cabin and an expandable pod?

A work pod / booth is a compact one-to-four person acoustic room that installs in a day. An apple cabin / capsule is a curved, design-led pod with panoramic glazing. An expandable pod ships at 20ft and folds out on site to a much wider garden room.

How long from order to delivery?

Typically 6-16 weeks depending on the model and season - work pods are quickest, large capsule and expandable units take longest. We keep you updated at each stage.

Can I spread the cost with finance?

Klarna is enabled at checkout. For eligible UK customers, Klarna may offer financing on order totals from £250 to £5,000 for up to 36 months. Interest may apply and approval is determined by Klarna. Orders above £5,000 are outside Klarna's current UK financing limit.
